My Auria classification is medium; what does this mean?

The Auria score provides biological information regarding the level of inflammation in your breast tissue at the time of sample collection. Early data suggest a score in the Medium category indicates an elevated level of inflammation is occurring in your breast tissue.

It is recommended that an Auria® classification of Medium (>0.1, <1.0) be clinically correlated with a structural examination of the breast tissue, such as a mammography, within 6 months of receiving test results. Auria is a screening tool and is not specific for breast cancer but could be elevated due to a breast abnormality such as a benign mass, cyst, or calcifications.
